Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge
Hiking and Birding Trails
Martinique on the Gulf is a neighbor to the 4,200-acre Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge. Visitors to the Refuge can enjoy guided and self-guided nature and bird trails. Visitors are invited to spend an afternoon hiking the trails in search of endangered turtles, red fox, coyotes, alligators, or one of the more than 370 species of birds. The Alabama Coastal Birding Trails are popular with many guests.
