Oktoberfest Oct. 1
Taking place in Orange Beach, this 21 and over event features beer, German food and events!
Festival of Flavor Oct 5-7
Just north of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores lies the town of Foley, AL. Making the short trip up on October 5 would be well worth the time as the 6th annual Festival of Flavor takes place there. This festival includes beer and wine tasting as well as great food!
Shrimp Festival Oct. 12 – 15
Four days of live entertainment and – of course – shrimp, highlight the 2017 Shrimp Festival! Check out the entertainment lineup!
German Sausage Festival Oct 28
Since 1978, the sausage festival has been led by the Elberta Volunteer Fire Department. The event includes great food, entertainment and a great many arts and crafts booths.
Oyster Cookoff Nov 3-4
The Oyster Cookoff in Gulf Shores also features craft beer and entertainment. An admission ticket includes samples from brewers and live music.
The Tasting Village – Nov. 10
One of the area’s more popular events, the Tasting Village showcases local and regional culinary creations allows you to sample many different items. Cost for admission very reasonable – $5.00 per person. Children under 5 are free. So gather up the fam and head for the Wharf at Orange Beach on Nov, 10!
World Food Championships Nov 8-14
Billed as the ultimate ”Food Fight,” or “the largest competition in Food Sport” some of the world’s premier chefs are coming together this November to put their talents to the ultimate test! Competitions include Barbecue, Sandwich Championships and even the Bacon World Championship! Want a front-row seat? You can even be one of the citizen-judges!
