6 Reasons to Plan a Gulf Shores Vacation

Looking for a beach destination for your next family vacation? Gulf Shores is located along the Alabama Gulf Coast and is a gem with plenty of things to do for all ages, whether you want to relax or have a fun afternoon.

You don't have to go to Florida for beautiful stretches of white-sand beaches. Gulf Shores and Orange Beach boast sugar-sand beaches with coastal sand dunes and crystal clear water. Gulf State Park is a popular beach spot with plenty of activities to enjoy, as well as a covered beach pavilion, picnic areas, walking trails, a fishing pier, tennis courts, and even a zip line.

When you stay at Martinique on the Gulf, you have access to the beach just a few steps outside of our door. You have 600 feet of beach right outside your doorstep, and we have a select amount of Gulf front condos so you can wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the waves each day.

Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge

Martinique on the Gulf neighbors Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, a 4,200-acre nature preserve with coastal dunes, scrub forest, fresh and salt water swamps, and more. This park is a popular spot for birdwatching, fishing, hiking, boating, and wildlife viewing.

There are many trails in Bon Secour National Wildlife, and you can access the park from Martinique on the Gulf. Spend the entire day in the park or just a few hours here. Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge is one of the last remaining undisturbed coastal habitats in the state of Alabama.
