2022 was our 2nd visit to Gems by the Sea! It’s the perfect house for our family. We enjoy the open space and short walk or golf cart ride to the pool or beach. Lots of fun amenities like outdoor gas grill, screened in porch etc. We will continue to rent this property during our Fort Morgan trips for years to come.

A Real Gem

We loved our stay. The house was beautifully decorated and the house was perfectly set up for our family. Only 2 minor issues, which would not sway from staying here, one of the golf carts was in need of repairs, we could not really use it, and the other small issue, for a family of 6 two rolls of toilet paper did not go far. Overall this was a great vacation and would stay here again.

Awesome stay at Gems By The Sea. It was perfect four the five of us but could have easily slept 7. Our family has been coming to the Martinique for over 15 years and it is always the picture perfect getaway. The home was super cozy and the beds were very comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen and two golf carts were an added bonus. The screened in patio was perfect to enjoy a cup of coffee during the rainstorms we had from hurricane Hannah. As always the grounds were pristine and all the beautiful foliage makes you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. We felt safe with the covid 19 precautions in place even at the pools. More wonderful memories were made!

We have rented Gems by the Sea many times. It's perfect for us. It's a beautiful single story home and perfect size. When we walk thru the door we feel like we are at home. We love alot of tge updates to the kit hen and also the curtains and accessories are beautifully done. Addition of appliances in kitchen a great addition. The one major thing I would replace carpet with in the bedrooms is hardwood floors.I think it would put it over the top gorgeous.

While driving down received a call from Martinique informing us that there had been a miscommunication concerning checkout time with them previous occupant but they could move us to another house (Gems by the Sea) for the same price. After quickly viewing the property we gladly accepted. I’m sure the first place was acceptable but we were extremely pleased with the three bedroom, two bath Gems by the Sea. Martinique is our favorite beach destination and we especially enjoy the one story cottages like Gems. Beautifully decorated, clean, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and convenience of a single story house. I highly recommend and will certainly return. PS: air conditioner stopped cooling on the first day but the Martinique staff called a repairman and had it fixed within 3-4 hrs. Stuff’s gonna happen, but the test is how quickly it gets resolved. ����

My family and I enjoyed our stay. We attended a family reunion, made use of the beach and smaller pool. Our house was perfect, had enough room for 18 people to eat together between dining room, living room and porch. Loved it, thank you!

Everything about our stay at Martinique and specifically Gems by the Sea was perfect! Location, staff, comfort and cleanliness, appliances, kitchen, bathrooms are all due an A+. Temps were cooler than usual, but the sun was wonderful. We used the small gym but only viewed the beautiful pool and hot tub. Sassy Bass provided quick access to Market, pizza, and liquor store. We had excellent meals in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. New restaurants include The Diner (across from Tacky Jack’s#2) and Hogfish Grill (across from a fav Brick and Spoon). New to us and ready for Madrid Gras, Acme Oyster Restaurant did not disappoint, and at Big Fish’s happy hour, we had our evening meal. Sunday brunch at newish Ruby Slipper was a real treat. As you can tell, we ate, worked out, and felt right at home in Gems by the Sea.

Very nice. First time i had rented a house like this..the Management team made it easy with all the different..don't forget this..emails..The house was super clean and luxurious..we was impressed. Two nice pools..golf carts and bicycles to ride..couldn,t ask for a better time..awsome beach that wasnt over crowded.

The house is nicely furnished, although I wish they would clean out the garage. They also need to install a garage door opener. We like that security was more evident with them checking for swim tags, would like to see better enforcement of no kids in hot tubs or driving golf carts.

Martinique and Gems By the Sea

Our family loves coming to Gulf Shores Martinique. It is a beautiful, clean property and it is in a quiet location, which we love with 2 small children. The only real negative is that it is decent drive into Gulf Shores for groceries and many restaurant and activities, but our family believes it worth it. The only real complaint is that the pools were not heated this time of year (end of April). With the air temp barely reaching 80 for the high, the water temperature was a little on the cool side.
