Perfect Spot to Rest and Reset

We visit this area at least once a year to rest, reset, and recharge our batteries before we head into a busy Fall. The property is beautiful, clean, and quiet. Close enough to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach to visit our favorite shops, ice cream shops, and get a steak at Big Mike's = yet far enough out. Since it is a private property neither the beach or pool has been crowded during our visits. We have stayed in a few different units over the years and they all are well-stocked, everything in good working condition, and clean. Reservations are easy - as well as check-in and check-out. The staff is always very helpful and available for a phone call when I have questions. When we first visited the Fort Morgan area we stayed at a few other places before we found the Martinique property. Once we discovered this property I haven't even looked anywhere else.

The gated community leading up to the beachfront condo is just gorgeous. The pools are spacious, clean and well thought out. Our view was amazing and the condo was beautiful and so clean. Luxurious bathroom!

Just a perfect stay....lots of “elbow” room & everything we needed to cook together ALL of our meals! We added a fishing charter & had plenty of fresh red snapper! I’m 72 & my only disappointment was carrying beach chairs & umbrellas down to the beach because the rental cost is outrageous

Had a wonderful time here for our family’s spring break. The condo was perfect and had everything we could have asked for. It was so nice we stayed here the entire week and barely ventured out. Clean beach, quiet, if seclusion is what you’re looking for this place is perfect!

Nice place, updated, airy and bright with a great view of the beach and sunsets. No noise from above (top floor) and the decor is good for a beach location. Got bumped out of our original 202E due to the owners arriving unannounced after 3 nights, but this is definitely a better unit, only reason to downgrade, but the staff did a great job refunding our whole 5 night stay and gave us this unit for the last 2 nights.

Came in on the tail end of Laura before Labor Day. Checking in was nice and they were ready early. The A/C needed a maintenance call and they got it all squared away within a few hours while we explored the pool.
This is a wonderful unit. Five stars for everything but the place could use a few updates. Mainly bathrooms, countertops and fixtures. Still very clean and comfortable.
We recommend the state park in town for awesome biking trails.
This complex is quiet and private. Sitting next to the Bon Secour Preserve there were extraordinary birds within short view.

Our stay at 302 West was so relaxing and so fun! The Condo is lovely and the whole property is well kept in a beautiful setting. The office is staff is always there with a smile to answer questions and help meet your needs. The maintenance crew is also terrific! They were there within a very short time if for some reason we needed them. Kudos to everyone associated with this property.

We had a wonderful time at Martinique and would definitely recommend this property for future renters. The only thing I would do is change the pictures of this rental because it has been remodeled and looks wonderful with new flooring in the livingroom and kitchen with no green rug. It was a pleasant surprise when we walked in.

3rd floor 2 bedroom unit was tastefully decorated and had great views!! The jellyfish were out during our stay so we were able to use the pool. Well equipped but is ready for new towels. Overall rating very good.

There is a mind and body shift that occurs on arriving at Martinique. As soon as the bags and cooler are unloaded and we catch our first glimpse of the Gulf and inhale the salt air, our pulse is set to the rhythm of the surf. We suspend time and exhale. We are at the beach! Martinique is an uncrowded, peaceful paradise on the edge of the Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge so our long walks were accompanied by beautiful great blue herons, brown pelicans and gorgeous and ever changing views of the sea, sky and dunes. Our unit, 302 West, was comfortable, bright, carefully cleaned, and cheerful. It was the perfect place to relax and be in the moment . And yes, we ate our chocolate too!

Overall we had a good time. We stayed at this condo 2 years ago and it needed work then-MORE so now. Dishwasher top rack kept falling out. Dishwasher screw loose and dishwasher leaned out of cabinet. Rusted dryer. Master mattress worn out-lumpy.

This condo was perfect. You almost have a somewhat private complex beach. The pool area was stunning. We prepared a couple of dinner meals using the community gas grill and the condo owners supplied everything you might need to feel right at home. It was very quiet during our stay and having the preserve made it very peaceful while on the balcony while enjoying the view of the ocean. We thank you for letting us use your condo we will definitely be back.

The location and view were simply wonderful. The resort is beautiful. My kids loved the pool and easy walk to the beach. I used the workout room a couple of times and it had everything I needed. The condo was nicely furnished. A couple of issues we had was that the King in the master was extremely uncomfortable. The memory topper just sags, it needs to be replaced. We had terrible back and neck pains - the padded loungers by the pool were more comfortable! We had to hunt for the wifi code, we found it under the router. The bedroom door to the balcony will not close properly. When we arrived a chair was wedged there. We had to keep it there as it blew open in some windy weather! The unit was not as fully stocked as some condos I have stayed in. You will need to bring trash bags, dishwashing soap, laundry detergent (one sachet is provided, but you have to use it to start a wash when you check out) dishwasher tabs (again one is provided, but you have to start the dishwasher when you check out) other condos I have stayed in have salt, pepper, sugar, foil, spare batteries, flashlight and some even have a welcome pack, like a pizza and bottle of wine. I am not expecting that but just to know that I guess housekeeping clear EVERYTHING out of the kitchen. Overall we loved the resort and had a very relaxing break.
