I would like to thank Martinique and staff for a wonderful week of relaxation. My wife and I discovered this beautiful resort many years ago. We have returned at least 5 times since then and Martinique has always delivered. On this trip my brother-in-law and his wife joined us (their first experience) and I believe you have won them over for life. They are now looking forward to their next vacation on the beautiful white sand beaches of Martinique!

Condo was very comfortable and clean. Great location. Enjoyed the beach and the pool. Fitness center is sufficiently equipped and clean. Also enjoyed using the tennis court. Staff is very friendly.
Recommend replacing boxspring and mattress in master bedroom. Add hooks in 2nd bathroom to hang towels.

The best place to vacation!

These condos are absolutely beautiful. The third floor provides a million dollar view of the beach and Gulf. This was our second year staying at Martinique. They saved our vacation last year when another company cancelled our reservations twice b/c of repairs from Sally. We loved it so much we decided to stay here every year.

The condo was very clean and well maintained. The living room TV quit working on day #2 and the maintenance and management replaced as soon as possible. We appreciated the quick response and had no hassles in getting that issue addressed. The grounds as always were well maintained. I would recommend a door stop be installed at the front entrance to condominiums as moving vacation gear is difficult to wrangle through the door on carts. We will see all next year.

Spring Visit to 305 East

Martinique's 305 East is a lovely unit, and is our top choice there among many other fine condo units. Recent interior changes have further enhanced its charm and appeal, as well. Among other features, the balcony offers great views, but also seems to pick up favorable air movement when temperatures heat up (the only suggestion for this space--the chairs seem too short for the table). We'd not hesitate to recommend this beautiful unit to anyone seeking a wonderful beach escape (the low-key atmosphere at Martinique has always been a terrific bonus along with its location adjacent to Bon Secour NWR). Privilege to again stay in 305 East at Martinique!

The resort was beautiful!!! Beach was not crowded. The condo we stayed in was beautiful also and very well stocked. The extra bedroom in our condo had 2 twin beds with 2 trundle beds. We were disappointed that there were no mattresses in the trundle beds during our stay since that meant one of our family members had to sleep on the couch. Not idea but at least the regular couch was comfortable!

The condo and entire property were very nice. Condo was cleaned to perfection, and the balcony provided good views of the gulf. The balcony was never in full sun which made sitting out nice anytime of the day. From beginning to end, the property management were friendly and helpful.

Another win at Martinique!

It was just my wife and me for a 12 day stay. We loved staying in the East condo on the third floor. The view toward Bon Secour and beach is unobstructed by boardwalks, roads, parking lots, etc., just pure nature. We really liked the keypad entry - nice to not have to worry about a key. The balcony and master bedroom windows are wonderfully private. We enjoyed just about every meal outside and left the blinds up and curtains open just about 24/7. Both bathrooms were great. This condo has a very well stocked kitchen - all the gadgets, serving utensils, pots and pans you need if you want to cook your own food. As always, check-in was easy and the condo was clean. We hardly watched television so we can't vouch for how all that worked but the sound bar was easy to connect to our iphones and we enjoyed that. We didn't use the second bedroom so we can't speak for how those beds were. Don't be alarmed by the noisy icemaker near the sink; it works fine. It just sounds like a dishwasher at times throughout the day.

Our family of 5 stayed at Martinique and had a great time. Kids loved the beach and the pool. Parents loved being 20 minutes away from Gulf Shores. Made for fewer people on the beach and a nicer stay.

Awesome vacation

Celebrated 50th birthday with our son and friends .Played golf at kiva dunes and peninsula club--good courses.
Ate fabulous seafood for the entire week.
Partied at the flor-bama .
At 70 had a hard time keeping up with the younger
group, was like reliving college times !!!
Recovered at the beach and pool.

Perfect. Furnishings were beautiful, view was beautiful as well. Kitchen was well organized with drawers labeled as to where items could be located. We have stayed at Martinique at least six times, and this was by far one of the best properties. We will rent again.

Once again, the Martinique on the Gulf delivered and remains our favorite destination to rest, recharge and connect as a couple. The condo was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The other guests were friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed meeting a few regular vacationers, both at the beach and at the pool. The common theme is we all want to live here!

Amazing View Beautiful Unit

Amazing views. Stayed week of Thanksgiving the light is beautiful this time of year. We enjoyed walking on the beach and playing golf. The unit was wonderful great beautiful decor. The owner has a nice touch. The only reason I gave four stars is that there were a few things that needed upgrading and hopefully they will. The coffee cups were cute but all were chipped. But they had good supply of pots pans utensils. The sheets were not soft and didn't fit the bed so you woke up on wadded up wrinkles of sheet. I think maybe the unit had been closed up for awhile it had a stuffy smell. As did the washer I had to run an empty load first. I'd advise leaving door open if not regularly renting the unit. Also it's always nice if some extra cleaning supplies are left to clean glass tables etc. having said this I would stay in this unit again. This is a nice quit secluded complex next to a state park so you can be on beach with no hotels houses in five minutes.

Great from check in to departure. Unit was all we expected. Our first time to rent a 2 BR but it was a very pleasurable experience. We have found that the 2 BR at Martinique is bigger than other places 3 BR units. Jennifer and Susan are the greatest.
